Darshan/Aarti availability, reporting time, photo-ID rules, queue arrangements, accommodation and festival crowd levels can change. Use only the official Sai Sansthan portal, keep your acknowledgement and original photo ID, and use Feedback / Report an issue if you find an update.
RouteSathi guide update: October 2026 · Your official booking acknowledgement and temple instructions are final.
SHIRDI · MAHARASHTRA
Shirdi, planned with less waiting stress.
Book official darshan first, then keep the temple-complex sites in one walkable loop. Shirdi works best as an overnight pilgrimage—not a rushed detour with another distant shrine forced into the same day.
01Official pass firstDarshan/Aarti and accommodation should be checked on the Sai Sansthan portal. A reseller’s message is not a confirmed temple booking.
02One walkable sacred loopSamadhi Mandir, Gurusthan, Dwarkamai, Chavadi and Lendi Bagh belong in one slow temple-complex block, not separate taxi rides.
03Shani Shingnapur is separateIt is an extra road outing. Do not add it before a booked darshan, an Aarti or a train/flight transfer.
FIRST, CHOOSE YOUR PACE
How much Shirdi time do you really have?
One night is enough for a calm official darshan and the temple complex. Two days only makes sense if you want extra prayer time, rest for elders, or a separate nearby pilgrimage day.
The Sai Sansthan is the final authority for booking, reporting and live temple arrangements. This guide protects the core temple visit from traffic, queue and avoidable hotel-check-in confusion.
PLAN A · ONE NIGHT
The sensible first Shirdi visit
Plan your day around the time written on your official acknowledgement—not an old queue estimate. The nearby sacred places can be visited on foot once darshan is complete.

CHECK-IN + PASS CHECK
Settle before the temple queue
Keep the official acknowledgement and original photo ID ready. Confirm the reporting point and time printed on your booking before leaving your stay; do not depend on agents or screenshots.
Join the appropriate official queue at the stated time. Queue length, security and crowd arrangements can change, so do not make a tight train, flight or road booking immediately after darshan.
The Sai Sansthan FAQ lists the Prasadalaya as open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Go when your booked darshan and current crowd situation allow; do not skip food for a forced sightseeing list.
Visit Dwarkamai and Chavadi after your main darshan, at a calm pace. Respect queue direction, security instructions and any current access limits on the day.
Use the second day for a booked Aarti/darshan, rest for elders or one separate road outing. Keep Shani Shingnapur outside the main temple day so one delay does not spoil the whole visit.

01 · OFFICIAL PORTAL
Use Sai Sansthan only
Book or check availability through the official online Sai Sansthan portal; do not send money or OTPs to an agent.
02 · ID + ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Match every traveller
The booked person and original photo ID matter. Read your acknowledgement and report to the official point at the stated time.
03 · STAY AFTER PASS
Protect the temple slot
Choose a stay that lets you reach the complex early and calmly. Do not book a distant hotel if an early reporting time is already confirmed.
Simple rule:Official pass first, stay second, travel ticket third. A calm Shirdi visit is more valuable than stacking Shani Shingnapur, a long road transfer and a booked darshan on one day.
ONLY WITH EXTRA TIME
More prayer, not more rush.
These are optional additions, not compulsory boxes. Choose only one with a free half- or full-day block and current local travel conditions.
SEPARATE ROAD OUTING
Shani Shingnapur
A major nearby spiritual stop, but not part of the walkable Shirdi complex. Use a separate day or a long free block with an easy return.
Pehle official pass check karo, phir stay decide karo. Darshan/Aarti ke liye acknowledgement aur original photo ID ki requirement ko travel day se pehle hi verify karo.
OFFICIAL DARSHAN
Book safely
Sai Sansthan’s official portal offers darshan, Aarti, accommodation and other services. It warns that it does not authorise agents for online bookings.
Live conditions, reporting points and queues can change. Treat the official acknowledgement and on-site instructions as final, not an old social-media schedule.
